Emergency Vet Nurse - Greencross Vet Centre Become a vital part of our Emergency & Critical Care team at Greencross Vet Centre. We’re looking for Full‑time and Part‑time Vet Nurses to provide exceptional care to emergency and hospitalised patients in Adelaide. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional nursing care to emergency and hospitalised patients Support veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments, and emergency procedures Monitor patients, administer medications, and maintain accurate medical records Assist in surgical and critical care cases as required Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients during stressful situations Uphold hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety procedures Contribute positively to team culture and knowledge sharing Ideal Candidate Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) Minimum of 2+ years experience in a busy GP clinic or emergency/critical care role Strong technical skills (IV catheter placement, blood sampling, anesthesia monitoring) Calm, focused, and compassionate under pressure Excellent communication skills and genuine passion for animal care Available and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays on a rotating roster What We Offer Full‑time or part‑time hours available Competitive salary based on experience Staff discounts on services and products for your pets Supportive work environment with career development opportunities Continuing education and no on‑call shifts Opportunity to make a lasting impact in pets’ lives Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Other Industry Veterinary #J-18808-Ljbffr
