As a locally nominated ‘Business of the Year’ in 2025, we uphold high standards in all regards to an excellent shopping/selling experience. SUMMARY We are seeking a fashion‑savvy, confident communicator to oversee daily store operations. Not only will you conduct sales, but, most importantly, you will effectively promote and sell our rack rental model to ladies who have clothes to sell The ideal candidate displays excellent fashion knowledge, top‑quality communication, the ability to confidently promote the business, and maintain our strong, existing relationships. You will play a key role in helping clients get set up and keeping them in the loop throughout their sales period. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FASHION AND STYLING EXPERTISE Demonstrate strong knowledge of fashion styles, designers, and garment construction to provide styling advice to customers. Ensure all visual merchandising is of a high calibre, seasonally appropriate and appealing. Maintain a strong comprehension of the boutique’s Terms & Conditions for quality control. RACK RENTAL SALES & CLIENT SETUP Engage with customers to identify those who may be interested in selling and confidently explain how the system works. Take reservations and payments on the spot, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new clients. Assist new clients with setting up their online accounts (and pricing their items correctly). Maintain accurate records of bookings, ensuring each rack is fully utilised to maximise store profitability. CUSTOMER SERVICE Address customer inquiries regarding sizing, fit, and styling options, plus how to navigate the store. Build rapport with regular shoppers and consignors, fostering a loyal customer base. Educate new customers and clients about the rent‑a‑rack model. SALES TRANSACTION & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT Maintain inventory accuracy and prepare new items for sale when they arrive in store (specific to clients replenishing their rack). Upsell and cross‑sell items to increase store revenue. Ensure all clients and customer interactions are logged for follow‑ups and retention. Multi‑tasking is essential, tasks must be completed by the end of each day to ensure flow.
