Summary As a Tank Installer, you will work under the guidance of a Team Leader to travel to various sites across Victoria, assisting in the construction and installation of water tanks in a range of shapes and sizes. These tanks serve critical purposes, including firefighting, drinking water storage, and other essential applications. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a small, hands‑on team to ensure each installation is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Construct water tanks using galvanised steel and other materials to specification. Adjust builds as needed in consultation with the Tank Install Lead. Travel across Victoria (and occasionally interstate) with overnight stays (1–3 days, sometimes on short notice). Generous travel allowances apply. Follow all Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and site safety protocols. Attend site inductions and comply with drug/alcohol testing where required. Represent the company with professionalism, a positive attitude, and a strong team spirit. Support other site tasks as directed when installations are paused (e.g., due to weather). Maintain a high level of WHS compliance and professional conduct at all times. Start Location: Corio – Geelong each morning for a briefing and team huddle before heading to the work site. Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role. Prior experience in a similar installation or construction role. Current Construction Induction Card (Red/White Card). Confined Space Certification. Physically fit – role involves lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Current unrestricted driver's licence. Police Check and Working with Children Check. Sound mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings/site plans. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills and reliability. Forklift, HR and/or EWP licence (preferred, not essential). RDOs. Benefits Employee reward and recognition program.
