Receptionist (12mth Maternity Leave Contract) Morgans Financial – Alexandra Headland QLD An exciting opportunity has become available for a 12mth "Maternity Leave" position with our Sunshine Coast Branch. Morgans is one of the largest financial planning and stockbroking businesses in Queensland. Our branch office is located at Alexandra Headland on the Sunshine Coast. We are passionate about providing exceptional, holistic and compliant advice to our clients and are excited about business opportunities for growth as a result of ongoing industry change. We are looking for a someone who is passionate about the financial services industry and delivering exceptional client services to our existing and growing client base. The successful candidate will be our first point-of-contact for our clients. While we are ideally looking for someone with some industry experience, if you have recently completed, or studying and are a fast learner with a can-do attitude - please apply Your role would be to work effectively in our team and proactively assist the Financial Advisers in meeting clients' needs and expectations by supporting them in the day-to-day Financial Planning administration, document preparation, diary management, and client service activities to enable the Financial Advisers to maximise their productive time. This also includes General office duties including electronic filing, photocopying, binding, scanning and data entry as required. The position would suit a Junior looking to start their career within the Financial Services industry. Qualifications, experience and skills: Australian work rights are required for this position Exceptional client service orientation Self-motivated with regards to personal and professional development Well-presented and enthusiastic Strong attention to detail Excellent written/oral communication with numerical skills Comfortable with multitasking and meeting deadlines Strong workflow, prioritisation and time management skills Good understanding of, and ability to follow office procedures Knowledge of administration systems Experience with financial services administration systems would be an advantage Competent with a variety of technology applications Highly focused on achieving goals and objectives Keen to work as part of a positive team Basic document preparation skills Willingness to participate in training and desire to advance in career (ideally starting a Cert III in Business) Capable of analysing processes and initiating improvements Current Driver's License Please include in your covering letter why you believe you would be the best fit for this position.
