Looking for a Head Chef/ Production Kitchen Manager who loves creating real authentic good food Souvla is looking for the next head chef superstar to lead a team to produce high‑quality retail products. Soon to transition to a new kitchen, we need someone who has a can‑do attitude to motivate and inspire. We create high‑quality products, cooked fresh daily and delivered to various boutique supermarkets across Australia. We are a family‑run, friendly, tight‑knit team, who take pride in our work. About the role: Souvla is looking for an experienced Production Kitchen Manager to manage and lead a commercial kitchen. The role will require a fast learner, confident and able to jump straight into it. A team leader with great communication skills to ensure the smooth operation. Full time hours 4am start to 12pm, Monday to Friday. No weekend work. Located in Cranbourne VIC 3977. Ideally you have experience in a similar role and have a minimum two years experience in a leader position. Other duties include, but are not limited to: Food Safety Supervisor Knowledge of HACCP and SQF requirements Accurate weighting of all nutritional and ingredient inputs Monitor and safely operate all kitchen equipment Ability to identify potential contamination Use of best practices in relation to hygiene at all times Mandatory Experience: Previous experience as a team leader Previous experience as a Chef Ability to start at 4am -12pm Mon-Fri The successful candidate will have a good regard and understanding of food hygiene and safety, as well as being physically fit and a great communicator.
