Volunteer Treasurer SWAMP Central Coast Are you passionate about community, sustainability, and growing a better future? SWAMP Central Coast is seeking a Treasurer to join our dedicated volunteer team. As Treasurer, you will help play a key role in supporting our community garden and community initiatives as well as educational programs helping us continue to grow food with the community, for the community. About SWAMP SWAMP (Sustainable Wetlands Agricultural Makers Project) Central Coast is a not‑for‑profit community initiative based at the Central Coast Wetlands, Tuggerah. Our core purpose is growing food with community for community, donating all our produce to local organisations that support those in need. Our focus is to foster community connections through initiatives such as our community composting program, upcoming seeding program, school education programmes, workshops and events. The Role Oversee the financial management of the organisation. Maintain accurate and current financial records and prepare simple reports that provide financial transparency for the committee. Support grant acquittals and ensure compliance with financial requirements. Liaise with our Chair and Secretary to support sustainable planning and budgeting. This is a volunteer position requiring approximately 23 hours per week, with flexibility around your schedule. Meetings are held monthly online. Ideal Skills & Experience Experience serving on a board or committee in a not‑for‑profit or community organisation. Previous experience as a Treasurer or in financial management/bookkeeping. Experience and competency working with Xero. An eye for detail and an interest in community development. A collaborative, positive attitude aligned with SWAMPs values of regeneration, education and connection. Why Join Us?
