The Roles We are recruiting for: Recreational Gymnastics Coaches (Kinder, junior, and school‑age classes) WAG & MAG Coaches (beginner–intermediate competition levels) You’ll be responsible for: Leading fun, safe, and engaging gymnastics classes Supporting children of all abilities to learn skills and build confidence Creating a positive, encouraging training environment Assisting with class set‑up/pack down and basic admin where required Working as part of a supportive coaching team across both locations Take pride in keeping the gym clean, tidy and safe for every athlete and family who walks through our doors. Who This Would Suit This role is ideal for: Beginner or recreational coaches looking for training and mentorship Senior school students, uni students, or part‑timers who love working with kids Former gymnasts, dancers, cheerleaders, or athletes with a passion for movement Experienced coaches wanting to be part of a positive, growing club We’re Looking For People Who Are: Energetic, friendly, and great with kids (and parents) Reliable, professional, and team‑orientated Open to feedback and excited to learn Able to create a welcoming space for athletes of all abilities Requirements Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain) First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain) Beginner Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation – highly regarded, but if you’re the right person, we can help you get started and support you through accreditation Prior coaching or teaching experience is a bonus, but not essential for recreational roles Must be available to work weekends Why Join Athleta Gymnastics Coolaroo?
