Hudson Trade centre Mitre 10 Brookvale is on the lookout for a reliable, energetic Yard Hand to join our busy Trade Yard team. This is a full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday role perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, variety in their day, and helping tradies and builders get what they need – fast You’ll be doing everything from picking and packing orders, loading trucks, and keeping the yard in top shape, to delivering top‑notch service to our trade customers. Whether you’re ready in the trade game or looking to break into it, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a trusted name in hardware. What You Will Be Doing Roll up your sleeves for physical work (yes, there’s some heavy lifting) Load and unload trucks with timber and building materials Keep stock organised and deliveries accurate Help tradies in the yard and get their orders sorted quickly and efficiently Pick and pack orders for delivery Replenish stock and keep the yard clean and safe Work at pace, both solo and with the team Put safety and customer service front and centre every day What You Will Bring A current forklift licence is a big plus A strong work ethic and a can‑do attitude Great communication skills and a team‑first mindset Timber and hardware knowledge is handy – we’ll teach you if you’re keen to learn Physically fit and ready to be on your feet all day A sharp eye for detail and a sense of urgency Availability across weekdays (and the occasional Saturday morning when required) About Us For over 50 years Mitre 10 has been the local and independent hardware store to thousands of Australians.
