About the Role We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Merchandiser to join our team on a casual basis servicing Bunnings Warehouse and Independent Auto and Hardware Stores to implement and maintain visual merchandising plans in a retail environment to optimise product placement and increase sales for our clients and customers. The successful candidate must have flexible availability Monday to Friday, between 6am - 5pm. Approx. 35 hours per month on offer. All necessary training will be provided to ensure your success in the role Store Locations Wangaratta and Yarrawonga - approx 37 hours per month Merchandising Duties Ordering products, re‑stocking shelves, maintaining tickets and labels to ensure they are aligned to the product Implementing planograms – core duty is translating visual plans into reality on the store floor, including product placement, shelf arrangement & display design Refitting display bays – updating and reconfiguring modular shelving to improve visibility and customer experience Building promotional displays – this can involve the setup as well as maintaining attractive displays, ensuring there is enough stock for promotions, strategically arranging items to encourage customer engagement Electronic reporting – ensure all calls and store visits are documented and submitted electronically in a timely manner, regular weekly and fortnightly calls Customer engagement and collaboration – establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders About You Time management, passionate and self‑motivated Strong communication and relationship building skills to work with retailers Proficiency with retail software preferred Demonstrated experience in merchandising would be beneficial Must own smart phone or tablet (key for communication and reporting purposes) Current drivers’ licence and have access to a reliable vehicle (travel to and from locations required) Physical ability to work on the store floor, lifting and climbing is a requirement of this role Employee Benefits Generous discounts available via our employee portal such as Health Insurance, Petrol, Energy & Gas, exclusive gym memberships, gift cards + more Reward and recognition – be rewarded for your efforts and congratulate or recognise your fellow team members Flexible work roster and hours that creates a great work‑life balance We celebrate diversity and recognise that it is the unique contributions of our team members that give us our competitive edge.
