UI/UX Designer

Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Delivery, this role will play a key role in enhancing our online customer experience through exceptional UX and design across all digital touchpoints. Responsibilities Design and optimize UI/UX for eCommerce experiences across web and mobile, focusing on conversion rate improvement and seamless user journeys. Create and test design concepts, wireframes, customer journey maps, workflows and prototypes. Use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Hotjar, and/or Contentsquare to analyse user behavior, identify friction points, and inform design decisions. As part of an experimentation squad, plan, design, and interpret A/B tests to validate hypotheses and drive data‑led UX improvements. Translate insights from analytics and qualitative tools into actionable design recommendations that improve engagement and revenue. Conduct analysis & research to identify friction points in the online experience, and collaborate with our team to roll out measurable solutions. Contribute to sales growth through conversion rates and other key usability metrics. Collaborate with product, development, and marketing teams to align design changes with business goals and technical constraints. Ensure that all UX and design‑related tickets in Jira are maintained and updated. Work with internal and external development teams to support the delivery of new digital initiatives and features. Support the delivery of business initiatives through the facilitation of design and discovery workshops. Development of experience maps, storyboards and wireframes. Create and manage brand digital style guides and UX patterns to ensure a consistent design language is applied across the digital products. Assist in the building and developing of UX/UI practices and competencies within the Brandbank Digital Team. On‑site role 5‑days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices. Ideal Candidate Prior experience working in a UX/UI related role at a digital agency or fashion retail/similar environment. Excellent working knowledge of UX design processes, methodologies and principles. Strong communication and presenting skills with the ability to influence outcomes. Highly skilled in the use of design tools such as Figma, InVision, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis, with experience using Google Analytics, Hotjar, Contentsquare or Microsoft Clarity preferred. Ability to carry out and document customer research, such as usability testing. Strong experience and knowledge of customer journey maps, user flows, information architecture, wireframing, design patterns and guidelines. Experience and working knowledge of A/B testing and applying findings to inform future improvements. Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous projects of all sizes and complexity. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills. Passionate about usability and accessibility, with the ability to translate this into your work.
