The Opportunity 12-months maternity leave contract opportunity available in Cairns, QLD for a Clinical Specialist commencing 2 February 2026. Working alongside a Product Specialist, you are primarily responsible for providing technical support in an operating theatre environment to our hospital-based customers across our Trauma and CMF product portfolio. Key responsibilities include: Attending surgical procedures and providing expert technical support to Orthopaedic Surgeons and Nursing staff in the correct and safe use of products Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing in-service training to Registrars, Nursing staff etc. Optimising opportunities by passing on leads to the Sales Team and providing product demo as required Maintaining strong product knowledge through ongoing training and driving clinical excellence through professional and exceptional customer experience About You Tertiary qualification in a health-related field (Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Chiropractic etc.) and experience providing clinical support in-theatre during orthopaedic surgeries is highly regarded Confidence to work effectively under pressure in an operating theatre environment Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills Self-starter who is results driven and solutions focused Autonomous and able to work as part of a team, is organised with good time management skills Great Place to Work® Certified – 2025 Great Place to Work® Certification recognises employers who create outstanding employee experience.
