4-Day Port Botany Shutdown - Skilled Trades + Trade Assistants (90M ) Port Botany, Sydney, Australia Salary: AUD50 - AUD60 per hour + OT Penalty Rates Calling All Skilled Trades - Port Botany Shutdown - Excellent Rates Are you a highly skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, or Rigger looking for a short-term, high-earning opportunity? Randstad is seeking experienced and motivated tradespeople to join our team for a 4-day bi-annual maintenance shutdown at our clients chemical plant in Port Botany. This is your chance to contribute your expertise and earn excellent rates with significant overtime potential. Shutdown Dates: 4 days: Monday 25th August - Thursday 28th August 2025 Work Schedule: 10-14 hour shifts (dependent per day) Penalty rates apply after 8 hours (time and half, double time) We are looking for individuals with proven experience in: Mechanical Fitters: All aspects of plant maintenance, including dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling mechanical equipment. Experience with pumps, valves, compressors, and rotating equipment is highly desirable. Boilermakers: Welding, fabrication, and repair of pressure vessels, pipelines, and structural steel. Experience with various welding processes and materials is essential. Riggers: Safe and efficient lifting and movement of heavy equipment and materials. Intermediate rigger tickets and experience with various lifting techniques are required.
