Betfair Australia is on the lookout for Customer Service Operator to join our overnight team on a full-time basis. What we are looking for: A passionate sport and/or racing enthusiast with a strong drive for speed, competition, and positive energy. Someone who enjoys teamwork and having some banter in the workplace. Someone who enjoys customer service and is committed to consistently delivering exceptional support and building their knowledge. Key Responsibilities (training provided): Undertaking the registration, KYC (Identity Verification) and education of new customers. Efficiently and professionally answer calls and emails from customers, providing betting information and accurately completing bet placement on their behalf. Responding promptly to incoming customer queries via phone calls and emails. Assisting with and ensuring team procedures are appropriately documented. Continually updating knowledge around products and services. Promoting safer gambling practices by advocating for sustainable approaches and ensuring our platform remains a positive experience for all. What you will bring: A passion for customer service An understanding of upholding confidentiality of sensitive customer information The ability to make clear and well-reasoned decisions Availability to work weekends A high level of attention to detail, with an ability to effectively prioritise tasks Strong computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office Applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Initiative.
