The Opportunity As a Networks/Infrastructure Project Engineer, you will split your time between: Project delivery (70%) – leading and implementing new IT initiatives. BAU support (30%) – providing hands‑on technical support and consultancy. What You’ll Do Deploy and configure Windows Server environments and domain controllers. Apply security baselines, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and firewall configurations. Manage Active Directory, LAPS, and internet proxy services. Implement and maintain backup, monitoring, and antivirus solutions. Deliver infrastructure projects across virtualisation, networking, cloud, and data management. Provide responsive Level 2/3 support and produce clear documentation and test plans. What You’ll Bring 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure, network support, or project delivery. Demonstrated hands‑on experience configuring and maintaining network switches and routers. Expertise with Microsoft technologies – Azure, Intune, SCCM, MEM, AD, SharePoint, O365, Windows Server. Knowledge of SQL backup/management, Veeam, RAID, iLO, and bare‑metal restores. Experience with virtualisation platforms including Hyper‑V, VMware, and Nutanix. Strong understanding of cloud management and security practices. Experience administering and securing network environments using Fortinet firewalls and related security platforms. In summary A varied role blending project delivery with advanced technical support.
