Maintenance Technician

Role Purpose As a Maintenance Technician reporting to the Western Junction Production Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and carrying out both preventative and reactive maintenance activities. Your goal is to ensure all machinery, plant equipment, and site infrastructure operate safely and efficiently at peak performance. This key leadership position involves close collaboration with other department leaders to promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Coordinate maintenance of all machinery and infrastructure on‑site. Ensure efficient plant operations and minimise downtime. Prioritise workloads, focusing on urgent or high‑risk tasks. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices. Maintain documentation of maintenance activities. Liaise with external contractors and the Production Manager. Oversee pest management at the Red Hills site. Uphold and contribute to the company's safety culture. Qualifications and Skills Compliance with safety standards. Positive approach to problem‑solving. Experience in a food production environment. Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety regulations. Basic welding and fabrication skills. Boiler attendant certificate. Why Join Forager Foods?
