As an Urban Designer at Land Specialists Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of communities and urban spaces. Based in Tuggerah, NSW, this full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic planning, design, and policy development projects that enhance the liveability and sustainability of the local area. Projects range from low density residential developments to major high rise mixed use CBD developments. What you'll be doing Conducting site analysis, spatial planning, and contextual research to inform design proposals Property acquisition research Coordinating the preparation of development applications Preparing high-quality visual materials, including sketches, illustrations, 3D models, and presentations Participating in community engagement activities to gather insights and feedback Ensuring design proposals comply with relevant planning regulations and policies Contributing to the development of urban design guidelines and master plans Providing advice and guidance to clients and project stakeholders What we're looking for Tertiary qualification in urban design, architecture, or a related field Strong design skills and the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling deliverables Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team Thorough understanding of urban planning principles, regulations, and best practices Passion for sustainable and inclusive community development What we offer At Land Specialists Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and fulfilling work environment.
