Sonographer at Delta Medical Imaging Fairfield Delta Medical Imaging, a leading provider of advanced medical imaging services, is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our dynamic team in our Fairfield, NSW location. Entitlements Position: Sonographer, Full time/Part time, Permanent with bonus, or Casual Work hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday Terms: Effective from 12 January 2026 Eligibility: Only applicants with permanent residence status, full working rights in Australia, and with current ASAR registration should apply please. Responsibilities In conjunction with the current Senior Sonographer, Chief Radiographer and the Radiologists, the Sonographer will manage the Ultrasound service and discharge the associated administrative duties. The Sonographer is responsible for the daily coordination of the ultrasound service including the optimisation of workflows and ultrasound standards. The Sonographer shall provide a range of complex and routine ultrasound examinations and procedures, providing high quality imaging services: Obstetrics - First Trimester, Second Trimester, Morphology Scan, Third Trimester Small Parts - Breast, Thyroid, Neck, Scrotum, Assessment of mass MSK - Shoulders, Knees, Elbows, Hand/Wrist, Foot/Ankle, Groins, Hips, Chest/Abdo wall Vascular Interventional - Biopsies, Aspirations and Injections, Hookwire Localisation Assist the Chief Radiographer to ensure that ultrasound equipment is maintained, equipment faults are documented, and repairs are carried out proficiently. Manage time and resources effectively in order to maximise patient throughput whilst maintaining a high standard of service. Be adaptable to changing technologies and flexible in approach to client needs. Liaise with other staff within and external to the Department in the spirit of mutual cooperation to ensure that the operations of the section are coordinated and optimised. Required Qualifications, registrations, licenses As the Sonographer, you shall be personally accountable for their work and professional conduct and shall adhere to the Statement of Practice as issued by the Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine. You are required to maintain and update all qualifications, registrations and licenses relevant to your position, including but not limited to: ASAR and any other relevant Radiographer's licenses Indemnity insurance Only applicants with full working rights and recognized qualifications in Australia should apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
