Wallaby #882 Role: Solution ArchitectDaily Rate: $1000Contract Length: Initial contract until 30/11/26Location: Sydney/WFH Flex We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead end-to-end technical design, architecture governance, and solution leadership across a high-impact program. You will work closely with senior leaders, delivery partners, external vendors, and cross-functional technology teams to design modern digital products and services. This role is ideal for an architect with deep Microsoft cloud experience, strong stakeholder influence skills, and a passion for solving complex enterprise challenges. Key Responsibilities Translate, interpret and validate detailed Business Requirements Specifications (BRS), ensuring alignment to current and future ICT capabilities. Provide expert input into the agency's enterprise architecture and guide strategic technology investment decisions. Lead evaluation of functional and technical requirements across large, complex, multi-technology projects. Design end-to-end solutions using the Microsoft enterprise cloud stack, including: Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Power Automate SQL-based data models Oversee data models, configurations, customisations, integrations, workflows, and systems interoperability. Act as a technical authority guiding teams conceptually and architecturally. Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Program Manager, CIO, information security, data privacy, compliance teams, and wider ICT operations. Ensure solutions meet modern security, compliance, data privacy, and performance requirements. Produce and maintain high-quality architecture documentation, including: Solution Design Documents (SDDs) Technical specifications Support successful implementation, stakeholder alignment, and adherence to architectural standards and governance. About You 7+ years experience in solution/technology architecture in complex enterprise environments. Proven ability to balance business needs with technical constraints to drive innovation and efficiency. Experience delivering complex projects with multiple delivery partners and vendors. Strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban). Demonstrated expertise across key technology domains, including: Cloud computing Security and identity management Data management and integration Minimum 3 years working with large vendors to define, validate, and finalise enterprise architectures. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. High level of accountability with a proactive, collaborative mindset. Experience within the public sector is essential.
