The Role The KU Education and Quality Manager role is a diverse, fast paced role which will see you working within a team that supports our services to work towards achieving ‘Exceeding’ ratings within the National Quality Standards, maintain compliance to the National Regulations and Law, quality service provision and all aspects of pedagogy and practice. The role supports an allocation of KU servicesacross Sydney and is pivotal in providing mentoring and leadership to ensure the provision of high-quality educational programs for children and families. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful difference while utilising your expertise in Early Childhood Education and applying your leadership and management experience to drive quality. Below are some further responsibilities crucial to the successful delivery of this management role: Act as the direct delegate of the Approved Provider (Chief Executive Officer), ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements, including National Law, state/territory regulations, WHS, National Child Safe Principles, and KU policies. Provide mentorship and leadership to promote career growth and planning, empowering teams and fostering professional development. Provide professional guidance to Service Directors and teams, driving continuous improvement in early childhood education and pedagogy. Champion the organisational Strategic Plan, actively contributing to ECE department goals and shaping the future of quality education. Collaborate with Business Operations and Finance to ensure the long-term viability of KU services, including budget development, financial reviews, service modelling, and grant applications. Oversee all aspects of team management, including onboarding, performance development, appraisals, and effectively addressing challenges such as conflict resolution. About You Demonstrate a commitment to quality, contemporary and child safe curriculum in the pursuit of continuous improvement. Advocate for children and families while supporting the strategic direction of the organisation and upholding KU values. Be a confident mentor and leader who can inspire and support high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams, using sound professional judgment, initiative, and a solutions-focused approach. Commit to ongoing reflection and professional learning to continually grow your practice and leadership. Hold proficient NESA Accreditation. Maintain current certifications: WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis.
