What You Will Be Doing Strategic Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate sales, stock, and profit forecasts for designated product categories. Inventory Optimization: Manage stock levels, ensure optimal allocation, and minimise obsolescence. In‑Season Management: Analyse performance, identify trends, and recommend timely actions to maximise margin and hit targets. Relationship Building: Collaborate closely with Buyers to develop range plans and commercial strategies that align with company goals. Driving Profit: Play a critical role in Open‑to‑Buy (OTB) management and ensure inventory flows deliver on financial goals. Who We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience as a Merchandise Planner, Assistant Planner, or similar analytical/inventory‑focused role in a large‑scale retail environment. Highly proficient with retail planning systems and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.). Exceptional analytical ability and ability to translate complex data into clear commercial strategies. Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and is deadline‑driven.
