About the role We’re seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to assist a customer living with complex physical needs. Each day may look a little different depending on their wellbeing and planned activities, and the right person will value dignity, independence, and respectful personal support. Provide personal care including showering, grooming, dressing, and support with meals and hydration Deliver specialised bowel and urinary care (including abdominal massage, digital stimulation, and catheter support) Assist with manual handling safely, including the use of hoists and other mobility equipment Support community access such as social outings, appointments, leisure activities, and driving the client’s vehicle when required Carry out light domestic duties including general cleaning, kitchen tasks, waste disposal, and maintaining a clean support-worker area and bathroom Various shifts available Tues 3pm 9pm, Wed 7am 3pm, Thur 9pm 9am (sleepover), Sat 3pm 9pm and 9pm 9am (sleepover) About you Experienced in high-needs personal care and confident in bowel/urinary care procedures including digital stimulation Skilled in manual handling and happy to operate mobility equipment (training provided as needed) Respectful of client autonomy, privacy, cultural background, and personal beliefs Calm, adaptable, and able to support both active days and quieter periods depending on the client’s preferences Holds a valid driver’s licence, communicates well, and is committed to delivering high-quality care Why work with us As a valued member of our team, you have access to a range of benefits and perks to ensure you thrive at Independence Australia Group, including: We pay your Superannuation fortnightly to help grow your super balance faster Free and confidential counselling and support from our Employee Assistance Program Access salary packaging benefits to increase your take home pay by reducing your taxable income 3>Work with purpose We believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate in life and the community, regardless of ability.
