About the Role As Groups Reservations Supervisor, you’ll manage all group accommodation bookings from enquiry to final account, ensuring smooth coordination and exceptional service. Using Opera Cloud and Ivvy, you’ll process reservations, amendments, and cancellations promptly, while maintaining clear communication with guests, agents, and corporate clients. You’ll liaise with hotel departments on group requirements, assist with large check‑ins, and handle complaints professionally. Your expertise in room types, rates, and packages will help you upsell where possible. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can think on their feet. Skills & Experience Proven experience in hotel reservations or a similar front office role. Strong knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and iVvy. Proficient in Opera Cloud and Ivvy reservation systems. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to problem‑solve and make quick decisions under pressure. Experience managing group bookings from contract to final account. Skilled in processing reservations, amendments, and cancellations promptly. Excellent coordination with multiple hotel departments for group requirements. Knowledge of room types, rates, and packages with ability to upsell. Ability to handle guest complaints professionally and assist in resolutions. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and deadlines. Previous experience in reservations or hospitality operations preferred.
