All successful candidates must be willing to work at Grafton Community Corrections. Your role As a Community Corrections Officer, you will join a dedicated and dynamic team focused on offender rehabilitation and enhancing community safety. In this role, you will collaborate with individuals under supervision to develop and implement rehabilitative strategies, monitor progress toward established goals, and conduct home visits to ensure compliance with conditions. What You’ll Do Community Corrections Officers are trained to case manage people subject to community-based orders, including Parole Orders, Intensive Corrections Orders, and Community Corrections Orders. At Grafton, Officers also work with people in custody to prepare them for successful reintegration into the community upon their release on parole. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in all interactions. Experience in case management, along with high resilience, strong motivation, and a proactive, positive attitude. Ability to thrive in a challenging environment while applying cultural sensitivity and awareness. Develop and implement effective strategies while demonstrating decisiveness in managing emotionally charged situations and addressing complex or controversial issues.
