Quality Assurance & Control (Science & Technology)Competitive salary + Free car parking + Salary PackagingLeading Not-for-profit Aged Care Provider in VictoriaRewarding role where you will make a differenceAs Royal Freemasons continues to make a positive difference to the lives of older people across Victoria, the organisation seeks to appoint a dynamic and customer-oriented leader to join the organisation as the – Chief Quality, Safety & Innovation Officer.The roleReporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a member of Executive Team the Quality, Safety & Innovation Officer will work to ensure the organisation meets the Aged Care Quality Commission Standards and that care and services provided are safe, high quality, and meet the needs and preferences of our residents and consumers in accordance with relevant legislation and clinical best practice.The Chief Quality, Safety & Innovation Officer will contribute to strategic planning, operational support and deliverables and shares a collective responsibility of the overall achievement of business goals, specifically in areas of compliance and research and innovation.Key responsibilities includeDevelop, implement, monitor and evaluate systems and processes that identify risks and monitor all aspects of care and servicesWork with the Chair of the Quality & Safety board sub-committee in development of the agenda and associated papersChair the Consumer Advisory Body and coordinate the bodies workEnsure that policy and procedures are consistently reviewed and updated to ensure they align with the needs of the organisation and relevant legislationSupport and liaise with content experts in any partnerships with tertiary or research institutions for the purposes of research studies and innovation both in clinical and servicesManage education and training to ensure a flexible and appropriate schedule is in place that is responsive to operational needs of the organisationAccess, implement and develop, if necessary, mechanisms to drive consistent best practice protocols through all business processesEstablish protocols and feedback mechanisms to ensure that all compliance standards are identified and adhered to, and that any deficiencies are highlighted to the responsible personKnowledge and experienceDemonstrated working knowledge of the aged care sector and what is best practice in aged careExtensive knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards, OH&S legislations and other Acts as they pertain to all aspects of operating quality and education programs2 – 5 years’ experience within the Health Care or Aged Care industry or a compliance and governance role contributing at a strategic /operational / managerial levelDemonstrated HR experience including, staff management, employee relations, financial, public relations and change managementManagement experience with well-developed team leadership skills, problem solving, influencing and organisational skillsWhat we can offer youSalary packaging, package up to $15,900 per year tax free on items like Mortgage, Rent or everyday billsIn addition to your tax-free benefit, you can also use up to $2,650 of your pre-tax income to pay for entertainment expenses (meals, holiday accommodation etc.)Ongoing training and support, we care about your personal and professional developmentIf this sounds like the role for you apply online with a cover letter and resume.
