Our client is a respected contractor operating across civil, road construction and industrial projects in regional Western Australia. They maintain a strong pipeline of ongoing works and are committed to upholding industry-leading HSE standards across both field and workshop operations. About Us We are seeking an experienced HD Fitter to join a regional team based in Gnangara . This workshop and site-facing role requires strong mechanical aptitude, safe work practices and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will support heavy plant maintenance, breakdown response and scheduled servicing, working closely with site supervisors and the maintenance crew to ensure plant availability and reliability. Key Responsibilities Fault find, diagnose and repair heavy diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics and final drives Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing and plant inspection checks Attend breakdowns and provide timely, safe repairs on site or in the workshop Maintain accurate maintenance records, service sheets and parts requests Assist with plant rebuilds, component changes and fabrication work as required Follow site HSE procedures and participate in toolbox talks and inductions Liaise with site supervisors and parts/warehouse teams to manage inventories and minimise downtime Essential Qualifications & Experience Trade qualification or formal apprenticeship as a Diesel/Heavy Fitter (or equivalent experience) Demonstrated experience working on heavy plant — excavators, loaders, graders, rollers, tipper trucks etc. Strong hydraulics, powertrain and diesel engine fault-finding skills Current driver’s licence (manual preferred) and reliable transport Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously in regional environments Regional, stable work with ongoing projects Competitive hourly rate / salary depending on experience (negotiable) Supportive leadership and clear systems for safety and maintenance planning Opportunity for career progression and longer-term contracts How to Apply If you’re an experienced HD Fitter ready to join a regional maintenance team in Gnangara, please email your resume and a short cover note outlining, your current location, and your availability to ********@wwforce.com.au .
