Qualified Veterinary Nurse Full time 4 Paws Veterinary Hospital RR-9351 4 Paws Vet is a busy and conveniently located Vet Practice in Sydney’s lower North Shore. We have been serving the Neutral Bay community for over 25 years in our purpose‑built hospital. We continue to evolve and now an opportunity exists for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our enthusiastic and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience Nursing and be seeking the next step in their career. There is an opportunity for this role to learn about Practice Management. We are always looking to upskill our team and create succession plans. Responsibilities Undertaking nursing tasks including best standards of care in surgical & hospital nursing, pre/post‑operativecare, in‑house pathology,dentalproceduresand radiology Client care including nurse consultations, admits, discharges and at times assisting on reception Assisting our Head Nurse in the day to day running of the Nursing team and hospital workflow Assisting in mentoring our junior team members including workplace students Confident in cat handling as we hold a Silver ISFM accreditation We have all the modern equipment such as IDEXX in‑house laboratory, digital x‑rays, dental x‑ray, ultrasound and RX works. We aim to practice to a high standard where our patients are always at the centre of what we do. We are lucky to have a loyal client base with a great love for their pets. We are looking for a positive team player who exudes enthusiasm but has a calm and professional manner. Confidence and highly developed communication skills are essential. This position shares a roster with the other nursing staff, with 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am ‑ 2pm). Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
