Employment details Employment Type: Part‑Time (up to 65 hours/fortnight), Ongoing Salary: HN16-59 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging About the role An exciting opportunity is available for a General Practitioner providing primary care for one of Victoria’s most vulnerable populations. Based at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, this role provides an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a patient cohort marked by complex health needs, trauma and disadvantage. You'll join a dedicated, multidisciplinary team in a progressive model of care that prioritises women's health, chronic disease management and the specific needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients. Key responsibilities Providing Primary Care to patients at DPFC Participate in the on‑call roster About you Be an experienced General Practitioner with current AHPRA registration and specialist GP qualification (e.g., RACGP, ACRRM) Demonstrate capability in quality improvement Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, including custodial and community‑based services Western Health is one of the largest healthcare providers in Victoria, caring for a vibrant, diverse and rapidly growing community of one million people in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
