We are seeking a passionate and culturally grounded Aboriginal Mental Health Liaison Officer to join our team. This vital role supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and communities by bridging cultural understanding between clients and mental health services. You will play a key part in improving access, engagement, and outcomes for Aboriginal people experiencing mental health challenges. The successful applicant shall liaise and negotiate with Aboriginal communities and health professionals in the Peel Community area to develop, plan and implement culturally safe mental health services. Works in partnership with Assertive Treatment Team and case managers, as a key worker, to provide cultural consultation and broker engagement with cultural traditional healers.
