MC Truck Driver

Full-time | Permanent Role | Job Stability Based out of our Wodonga depot, we are seeking a professional multi-combination driver to assist our bulk linehaul operation on a permanent basis. All JJ's Waste & Recycling operators are expected to be honest and reliable, contribute to a positive driving culture, work within company and regulatory guidelines at all times, and maintain high standards of truck cleanliness and presentation. RESPONSIBILITIES Operate a B-Double FH Volvo with tanker trailers Collect bulk waste oil from Adelaide, Laverton and Bendigo and dispose of at SOR - Wagga Wagga Follow approved routes and load to verified load plans Be able to complete paperwork accurately and neatly – NHVR work diary, run sheets. Follow JJ’s Policies, Procedures and comply with HVNL at all times Report defects accurately and in a timely manner Monday- Friday with occasional scheduled Saturday or Sunday work ABOUT YOU Have a current Multi Combination licence and be experienced in operating MC line haul Previous bulk liquid/ tanker experience - highly regarded DG licence - highly regarded Be able to work productively with operations staff, customers and other driving team members Consistent commitment to safe work practices Work to weekly schedules provided by operations team Travel away for up to 4 nights at a time - Be willing to work 12-14 hours per day BFM accredited and able to complete paperwork accurately and neatly Knowledge of heavy vehicle mass limits Attend a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing Be willing to provide a licence history report for last 10 years 1 Driver to 1 truck (where possible) | Uniform and PPE Modern fleet with microwaves and Icepak bunk coolers Our trucks used are speed limited to 90 KPH for the safety and comfort of the operator External cameras fitted to the prime movers Mostly Non-DG Oil BENEFITS Successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of the role Annual OTE $145k Corporate Health and Fitness Program - Fitness Passport Salary sacrificing and novated leasing Banking partnerships – including financial, budgeting and mortgage advice Discounts at over 100 retailers (including groceries and fuel) Car servicing, parts and accessories discounts – plus new car discounts The stability of a national, Australian family owned and operated business with over 90 years’ experience NEXT STEPS Interested applicants should APPLY NOW Depending on the role, the recruitment process may vary slightly; this may include a phone interview, face-to-face interview, skills-based assessment, pre-employment medical and of course, an opportunity to meet the team.
