EOI - VE Teachers, Electrical and Instrumentation RMIT University is seeking expressions of interest for current or aspiring VE Teachers with relevant industry qualifications and vocational teaching qualifications, or those currently obtaining a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116). Location: RMIT College of Vocational Education – Melbourne CBD or Bundoora Campus. Position type: Ongoing and casual. About the Role As a VE Teacher at RMIT, you will primarily deliver course material, assess students, and supervise students enrolled in selected courses. Your responsibilities include Using effective interpersonal and communication skills relevant to teaching and consultancy environments, including presentation and facilitation skills. Applying competency-based assessment and ensuring current and contemporary vocational competence meets or exceeds the education level delivered and assessed. Leveraging relevant industry experience and substantial discipline knowledge related to electrical and instrumentation. Diagnosing learning problems in students and implementing effective solutions. Qualifications Relevant industry qualifications and vocational teaching qualifications. Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) – enrolled or finished. Relevant trades qualifications and licenses. Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
