We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Theatre Orderlies to join our dynamic theatre team. The Role As a Theatre Orderly you will play an essential role in supporting the smooth operation of our operating theatres and ensuring patients receive safe, high‑quality care. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting and supporting clinical staff during procedures. Preparing and setting up theatres for surgical cases, including checking equipment. Safely transporting patients between wards and departments. Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring waste removal in line with hospital protocols. Contributing to a safe and efficient working environment for staff and patients. What You’ll Bring Certificate III in Health Services (preferred but not required). Previous experience in an operating theatre environment (highly desirable). Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients, staff and visitors. Physical capacity to undertake the demands of the role. Flexibility to work across a 7‑day rotating roster. A proactive, reliable and team‑focused attitude. A genuine commitment to providing the highest level of patient care. Remuneration: On offer is an hourly rate from $32.30 to $37.94. Superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances (QLD Support Services Level 1.1 – Level 2.4).
