About the Role Develop on‑the‑job skills to maintain buildings, industrial systems, and equipment on an ongoing basis. Provide support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. Support data centre critical environment as Electrical Apprentice. What You’ll Do Receive training from current operations team in proper job safety and repair procedures. Observe operations team while they perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities. Assist with servicing & maintenance of building equipment and systems. Work with management to ensure energy management by taking measures to verify that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner. Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities. Perform tasks which are clearly defined and followed with little to no discretion. What You’ll Need High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a college program or technical school. In progress Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrical/Air‑conditioning & Refrigeration/Entry level off school Year 12. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift or carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. Applicant required to provide latest student transcript.
