Become a 1:1 volunteer mentor with Extended Families and be matched with a young person or adult with a disability in your local area. Extended Families has been supporting disabled children for over 40 years We would love you to join us. Cook together. ⚽ Kick the footy. Watch a movie. Make art. Garden. Whatever their interests are — you’ll be there to share time, build confidence, keep them safe and create connection. Most mentors catch up weekly, fortnightly or monthly — 1 to 4 hours at a time. We also run AWESOME clubs and SPEKTACULAR events during term and school holidays, so you’ll join a thriving community of friendly mentors, participants and passionate coordinators – who support their participants AND each other while having a lot of FUN You’ll get: ✅ Full training and ongoing support ✅ A dedicated volunteer coordinator (me)
