As a Site Production Planner your responsibility is to develop and manage a production schedule aligned with the master production plan. You will assign production activities to minimize inventory holding costs, enhance manufacturing efficiency and ensure on-time delivery, while meeting service level commitments for internal and external customers. Your duties and responsibilities will include : Production Scheduling: develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with the master production plan. Capacity & Resource Planning: assess plant capacity and allocate resources (machines, labor, materials) effectively, and recommend shift patterns, overtime, and staffing adjustments to meet demand. Inventory Management: monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels. Coordination & Communication: liaise with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure material availability. Performance Monitoring, Continuous Improvement and Risk & Contingency Planning. About You Bring your problem‑solving skills and solutions mindset this interesting and multi‑faced role. You will have strong communication and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across departments. Your analytical and data‑focussed approach will set you up for success. You will have : Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Proficiency in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems (SAP preferred). Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including basic formulas and data handling. Working knowledge of SAP for production planning and inventory control. 5+ years’ experience in production planning and scheduling (desirable). End-to-end supply chain knowledge, from procurement to distribution (desirable). Experience in DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) performance management and reporting (desirable). Strong understanding of world‑class production practices, inventory control, and optimization techniques (desirable). Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field (desirable).
