Associate – Transactional Practice Group (Funds) Join B&M Global Services Manila as a Funds Associate. This role sits within our broader Transactional Practice Group in Sydney and offers 3‑4 years of Post‑Qualified Equity (PQE) experience. You will be working with Leo Vellis, a partner in the Funds Transaction Group, as well as other senior partners in the team. Role and responsibilities Deliberate on transactional work that includes assisting funds on raising capital, undertaking investments, M&A transactions and providing regulatory advice on fund formation and operation. Work alongside partners, collaborate across Australian offices and internationally, and support a range of clients including major Australian and global companies, fund managers, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds. Qualifications and Experience 2‑7 years of experience in funds‑related work. Preferred experience with top‑tier or internationally‑recognised firms. Strong client‑service focus and high‑standard drafting, analytical and commercial skills. Excellent written and oral communication. Initiative, proactivity, and a willingness to learn. Ability to work well in teams across offices and internationally. Interest in mentoring and developing others. Business‑development aptitude and interest. Relevant legal qualifications with a strong academic background.
