Node.js Platform Integration Engineer — Hybrid

About the Role As an Engineer in Tech Pacific Domain, this role will have a deep understanding of integration methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications. This role will be part of a cross-functional team working collaboratively within high performing Agile teams, and an opportunity to work closely with the onshore Platform teams on the operational management aspects of the platform. What will your day look like? Providing technical leadership and guidance to the GCC team Collaborating with New Zealand technical teams, Product Owner to define platform health scope and objectives. Collaborating on release management of Microservices Platform & Temporal Platforms for operational activities Maintaining & supporting operational documentation. Defining solutions for automation of routine BAU platform tasks. Working closely with development teams in the event service handover Investigating vulnerabilities prior to sending to the engineers for resolution. Executing test plans to validate integration solutions, ensuring accuracy and system functionality. Identifying and resolving integration issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions as needed. Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement new solutions. What will you bring? Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in integration engineering or platform engineering, with a strong focus on integration platforms. Must have strong experience in Node.JS development & support Proven experience with Kubernetes (OpenShift, EKS) and multi-cloud environments (on-prem, AWS, GCP, Azure) API development and integration (REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, message queues) Experience with Testing approaches Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in planning and scheduling along with Jira and Confluence DevOps knowledge: Experience in environments that are fully automated through CD. Configuring continuous integration, deployment and delivery tools like Jenkins / CodeFresh. Instrumenting monitoring and logging of applications So why join us?
