Role Details Employment Basis: Permanent Part‑time Weekly working hours: 20 hours per week Hourly rate: $32.63 (dependent on shift times worked) Working availability: Evening and night shift as required Benefit Programs: Fitness passport, Novated Lease options, Employee Assistance Programs and more Team Environment: Close‑knit, team‑oriented environment with quarterly BBQs Employee Referral Programs: Opportunity to earn a cash bonus for successfully referring qualified candidates for selected positions Role Responsibilities Clean interior & exterior of company cars as required Clean interior of buses including seats, floors, ceilings, windows, behind rear seat, side walls & dash area Clean workshop lunchroom & change rooms including toilet area Clean office area, carpets, desks, empty office bins & toilet area including driver’s room Implement quality control / assurance procedures to ensure fleet presentation standards, particularly in relation to internal cleanliness, graffiti removal and external bus presentation Perform ad‑hoc tasks and other duties as directed About Us Busways is the largest Australian‑owned bus operator and the most experienced Australian bus specialist, delivering high‑performing transport services since 1942. The Successful Applicant Will Have adequate verbal and written communication skills Be able to complete tasks both autonomously and within a wider team Possess efficient organisational and time‑management skills to plan and prioritise tasks Be physically fit, as this role involves general labour and is of a manual nature Be willing to take direction and have a keen eye for detail Be reliable, punctual, and well presented Be willing to undergo a pre‑employment medical check, and work with children check Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have unrestricted working rights in Australia Highly Regarded (Preferred) Previous commercial cleaning experience Previous vehicle detailing experience Unrestricted Australian MR Driver’s licence Application If you believe this is the perfect role for you, please apply by submitting a resume and a cover letter that specifically addresses your suitability to the role.
