Register your interest Be the first to know when applications open for Arup’s Summer Vacation Programme by registering your interest Arup welcomes vacation students into their multi-disciplinary teams across several Australian locations including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Cairns and Townsville. We recruit summer vacation students from a variety of degrees such as engineering, architecture, environmental science, and more. Available opportunities in each location will be announced via email to those who have registered their interest. About Our Programme Arup’s Summer Vacation Programme is a 12 week-long, paid internship opportunity tailored for students in their penultimate year across Australia and New Zealand during their summer university break. On completion, you will automatically be considered for a graduate role, putting you ahead of the graduate pack. What our Summer Vacation Programme offers you As a Summer Vacation Student, you will take part in curated learning content, helping equip you with valuable skills that will help you as you embark on your career. The curated learning workshops will help you: Develop your career by building your professional presence and employability skills Learn strategies to manage challenges in the workplace Unlock your potential using a growth mindset Think towards your future by exploring career pathways and direction A highlight of the programme is the sustainable development group project. You and your team of vacation students will work together to solve a sustainability challenge. You’ll have the chance to showcase your creativity and innovation, putting your studies to use. Eligibility Criteria Have full working rights in the country of application.
