Band 3 - $67,399 per annum (excl. super) Job Satisfaction – Have a meaningful impact on the community by contributing to achieve positive outcomes across the Mornington Peninsula Shire About the Role Reporting to the Community Animal Shelter Operations Supervisor, the core responsibilities include: Perform daily feeding, watering, cleaning of pen/enclosures and health inspections of all animals, including monitoring for signs of illness or distress. Maintain cleanliness of pens, cages, and communal areas, and manage waste disposal in compliance with the Code of Practice. Provide enrichment and socialisation activities for animals available for adoption. Assist with basic administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting. Safely transport animals as required. Support the overall operation of the shelter/pound, including assisting with basic medical care under supervision, such as administering medications, and first aid as needed. About You Minimum Certificate III in Animal Studies or similar Industry experiences relating to the care, cleaning, feeding and hygiene of domestic animals and/or livestock & Pocket pets such as guineapigs and rabbits.
