Job Description CARE is a multidisciplinary veterinary specialist and emergency hospital located in Collingwood, on the fringe of Melbourne’s CBD. We are seeking an experienced ECC Veterinarian who thrives on a busy day and has a passion for providing the best patient care. What We Are Offering Permanent part‑time or full‑time position with flexible hours. Our typical schedule is 120 hours per four‑week rotation, but we will work with you to find a balance that suits you. Comprehensive support during your transition and throughout your tenure, including shadow shifts with senior vets, phone support, and case collaboration with other departments and skilled nurses. Shifts of 10 or 12.5 hours covering 24 hours per day, with an emphasis on a work‑life balance. Generous hourly rate and payment for all hours worked. Up to five weeks of annual leave, study leave, and additional perks. Excellent case exposure and patient care opportunities with a team that values collaboration and outcomes. About Us We are a large 24‑hour multidisciplinary hospital staffed by an outstanding team of veterinarians, nurses, and support staff, working alongside specialists in surgery, internal medicine, and emergency & critical care. Your practice will be supported by a wide range of imaging and laboratory equipment, including Siemens 16‑slice CT, digital radiography, digital subtraction fluoroscopy, POC ultrasound, MRI, critical care machines, and advanced anaesthetic monitoring.
