About the Role We offer our services to a diverse range of clients from adults to children with physical or intellectual disabilities, working flexibly either in their homes, community settings or from our office space. The scenic routes are just a bonus We are open to applications from experienced Speech Pathologists, those with less experience and those with disability experience and without, so get in touch to have a chat today Duties In this role, you’ll be tasked with a range of exciting duties, including: Providing high-quality, culturally appropriate assessments and interventions for individuals with language, literacy, voice, and specific eating, drinking, or total communication needs. Crafting personalised treatment and therapy plans to cater to the unique needs of our diverse clientele. Implement appropriate evidence-based services that meet the needs of clients according to the goals and within the allocated hours of their NDIS plan Participating in support planning processes to ensure effective, coordinated service provision that meets clients’ needs. Liaise with relevant persons in the client’s environment e.g. family members, carers etc. regarding implications and management of eating, drinking or communication needs Our Benefits We support people to live their best life. Skills and Experience Currently registered with Speech Pathology Australia Current driver’s license (cars provided) Passionate about supporting people with a disability to achieve their goals Honest and who carry out their role with integrity and demonstrate genuine respect for all people regardless of their disability, culture, age, gender, sexual orientation Experienced in applying evidence-based practice frameworks to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate clinical supports Able to work in a flexible, person-centred and strengths based way across a diverse range of settings to meet client needs Willing to contribute to and develop their professional skills through our internal practice communities If you identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, then we want to hear from you.
