Overview Are you looking for a stable and rewarding role? Ventia is currently seeking a dedicated Prison Cleaner to join our team at Karreenga Prison in Lara. This position offers consistent morning shifts, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. Position Prison Cleaner Employment Type Casual (with potential for permanent placement after a few months) Hourly Rate plus Superannuation Location Karreenga Prison, Lara, VIC Working Hours Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM Additional Hours Available until 2:30 PM as required Why Choose Ventia? Fitness Passport Discounted access to your choice of gyms & pools Duties and Responsibilities Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the prison, including offices, reception, workshops, bathrooms, communal areas, and foyers Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, staircases, and surfaces Bio-cleaning might also be required at times Qualifications Have a reliable vehicle and a valid Driver's License Be able to kneel, lift, perform the required duties, and stand for 4 hours or more Provide a recent National Police Check (under 6 months) and a valid Working with Children Card Successfully pass a medical assessment, as well as random drug and alcohol tests If you take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment and are available to work daily with flexibility for extended hours, we would love to hear from you About Ventia Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
