Production Supervisor

A leading industrial manufacturer is seeking a hands‑on Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations within the steel rebar production facility. This role is ideal for someone passionate about lean manufacturing, team leadership, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Champion a strong safety culture by leading toolbox talks, incident reviews, inspections, and ensuring compliance with WHS policies. Oversee daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets while coordinating labour, equipment, and workflow. Provide clear leadership, coaching, and development to production teams, managing performance, rosters, and team culture. Ensure processes meet internal and external quality standards, supporting corrective actions and compliance with relevant ISO/AS requirements. Drive continuous improvement using lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, root‑cause analysis, and standardised work to lift efficiency and reduce waste. Identify and implement process and safety improvements to enhance productivity and overall operational performance. Support organisational change by engaging staff, communicating new processes or technologies, and contributing to business improvement initiatives. What You’ll Bring: Experience in a manufacturing supervisory or team leadership position, ideally within a fast‑paced production environment. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams while building a positive and accountable culture. Strong commitment to workplace safety and effective risk‑management practices. Demonstrated capability to drive performance, support change, and influence cultural improvement. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
