Day to Day Manager

OVERVIEW The Day-to-Day Manager at Ourness, is responsible for providing comprehensive support to artists in the business, ensuring execution of touring logistics, release campaigns, brand partnerships, and financial operations. Working across a small roster of global artists, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all day-to-day operations run smoothly. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of the modern music industry. You’ll bring at least five years experience in artist management, label operations, touring or a related field. We’re looking for someone who’s driven, solution-focused, and highly organised, with the ability to take initiative and keep projects moving efficiently in a fast paced environment. The role involves being proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complex schedules across multiple time zones. You’ll be the glue between artists, managers, and third party teams, ensuring everything is aligned, efficient and delivered with care. The Day-to-Day manager reports directly to the General Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES Day-to-day Artist Management Work closely alongside Andrew Klippel as primary day-to-day contact for artists mentioned to ensure their day-to-day operations run smoothly Identify dynamic opportunities for the artists to bring to Andrew Klippel for discussion Manage artist calendars across multiple platforms Travel with artists for key events as decided by Ourness, acting as their representative on ground Oversee live performance logistics alongside Andrew Klippel & Tour Manager Work alongside Andrew Klippel and Label Coordinator to coordinate sessions, liaise on performance contracts and ensure timely payments Ensure artists are well-prepped for all engagements - from PR opportunities to music video shoots Maintain financial touring planners for Business Managers reference Confident using Excel and Google Sheets to manage budgets, timelines, project trackers, and multi-stakeholder planning documents Facilitate APRA setlist submissions and other reporting requirements for live performances Assisting with tour merch, liaising with artist and manager to assist global distribution Manage show logistics in collaboration with tour managers, including guest lists, ticketing, merch and travel Marketing, PR & Artist Development Oversee artist timelines alongside marketing teams, ensuring all partners have what they need to deliver best in class work Maintain artist profiles and website Collaborate with Digital Manager to ensure all requirements are met for DSPs, brand partners etc. Support with brand partnerships - coordinating approvals, logistics and timelines Assist with brand development and endorsements, liaising with artist and manager Submitting award nominations for both artists and the label Admin Act as key point of contact for all third parties, filtering information through to artist manager as needed - including agents, travel consultants, tour directors, and marketing teams Manage grant applications to secure funding for artists & Ourness projects Handle visa applications and artist documentation alongside Label Coordinator Facilitating Social Security Number applications alongside label Coordinator Oversee release coordination alongside Label Co-ordinator, ensuring all assets are delivered in a timely matter Ensuring coordinator is registering tracks with Kobalt/Good Neighbour alongside label Coordinator Facilitating and cross-checking supplier payments OURNESS Ourness is an independent music label based in Sydney, known for its artist-first approach to recording, management, and publishing.
