Assistant Planner

Planning team. Reporting to the Merchandise Planner, You will be responsible for the maximization of store sales and profit through inventory management, including the allocation of stock, analysing sales, line forecasting, and reporting.

Your key responsibilities will include:Monitoring sales data and stock levels and keeping informed of changing market conditionsStock allocation, replenishment and pick-ups across multiple brands and classesReplenishment management ensuring in-stock and fulfilmentConsolidation of inventory between storesForecasting core programs and liaising with vendorsMaintenance of WSSI & BuysheetWeekly ReportingSupplier Purchase Order and Contract management to ensure the effective and timely allocation and delivery of stockLiaising with management on long-term planning and sales promotionsEstablishing working plans according to seasonal and budgetary requirementsAnticipating consumer trends and determining quantity, style and quality of goods to be purchasedPost Seasonal department and categories analysis and reportingCreation and maintenance of vendor packsMarkdown analysis and event planningManagement of month end process in-line with Company requirements.Running ad-hoc reports as requiredTo succeed in this role, you will need to have:Demonstrated 2-3 years’ experience in a buying and planning space is desirableDegree in a related discipline is preferredExceptional organisational skills with strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills both written and verbal.Excellent attention to detail including accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.Must be organized with strong time management and prioritization skillsHighly Dynamic and adaptable work ethicCollaborative and strong interpersonal skillsAble to be dependable, follow instructions, respond to management direction.Highly self-driven with initiative to be hands-on to support wider teamAffiliation with Accent Group Core values and “ Make It Happen ” attitude.At Accent Group Limited we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity and inclusion.
