Trainee Network Control Officer

Position Overview As a Trainee Network Control Officer, you will learn to control and coordinate the rail network within the Southeast Queensland region, working from our Rail Management Centre in Bowen Hills. Compensation & Qualification Starting salary of $82,048 per annum plus 12.75% super. Upon successful completion of training you can earn up to $150,000 per annum plus super. You will complete a Certificate IV in Rail Network Control. Training Program Overview Journey commencement March 2026. 18-week training program blending classroom lessons, simulated learning, and on‑the‑job training. All training assessments completed during a 12‑month period, with no leave available during training except for gazetted public holidays. Successful completion results in a permanent role with progression opportunities. Work roster 8‑hour shifts on a 24/7 basis. Recruitment Process The process includes an online cognitive assessment, online video interview, and in‑person psychomotor assessment in 2026. Assessments will take place in Brisbane.
