Community Exercise Physiologist/Physiotherapist – Toowoomba Are you a physiotherapy and exercise physiologist in Toowoomba who wants to make a difference in people’s lives, passionate about helping people & being a part of a bigger vision? Responsibilities Work from home, the park, or a cafe for your office work. In community consultations – see clients in their own home, workplace, school or kindy to make the most benefit to their goals. Take advantage of our alliances around Toowoomba and work within a gym setting, as well as a local pool for hydrotherapy. Treat a range of clientele and ages – with a large focus on the disability (NDIS) & community aged populations (My Aged Care). Post‑operative rehabilitation. Write a variety of reports to third parties. Creating a system that works for you to complete all expected tasks. Supporting the team & creating awareness for this service. Writing information documents and blogs relating to your passions. Liaising and brainstorming with the team regarding client treatments. Involved in regular team meetings – wellness and goal setting as well as team growth. Contributing to the improvement of systems and processes. Realistic targets that you can actually achieve Requirements 2+ years of experience as a Community Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist. Happy to adapt a fun and functional approach with children and think on your toes to create engagement and participation. Experience working with people with disabilities is highly desirable but not an absolute requirement. Required certifications/documentation Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiologist. Current ESSA Registration. Current indemnity insurance & Public Liability. CPR & First Aid Certificate.COVID vaccinations up to date. Australian Drivers License.
