Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Gastroenterologist Hepatologist role is based in Top End, NT. The role involves diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal and liver diseases, performing endoscopic procedures, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, and developing tailored treatment plans. The individual will also engage in patient education, provide consultation services, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve healthcare delivery in the region. The role requires a commitment to delivering top‑quality healthcare, particularly in rural and remote settings. Qualifications Expertise in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, including endoscopic procedure skills Ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for gastrointestinal and liver diseases Strong collaboration skills to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment and provide consultation services Commitment to addressing healthcare challenges in remote and rural areas, with cultural sensitivity and adaptability Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology and Hepatology Exceptional communication and patient education abilities Experience in quality improvement and healthcare delivery initiatives General understanding of the healthcare needs in the Northern Territory and willingness to contribute to NT Health’s mission #J-18808-Ljbffr
