(Evaluated as Trainee Grade 4 – 10 of the QPRC Salary System 2025). Position is full-time – 35 hours per week. This role is much more than just writing – it’s about shaping the narrative of our region and helping residents understand the work that builds a better future. This role includes completing a free bachelor’s degree, paid by Council. In This Role You Will Research, write and edit content for Council publications, social media and website pages. This includes developing media releases, online news stories and articles. Produce video stories and images promoting Council and community activities. Support the delivery of internal communication campaigns. We Are Looking For Someone Who Can satisfy enrolment in and ongoing study requirements for a Bachelor of Communication and Media. Is capable of working both independently and as part of a high performing team. Strong communication and time management skills.
