We deliver secure electricity to homes andbusinesses throughout the Southwest Interconnected System (SWIS)from Coral Bay in the north, to Kalgoorlie in the east, and toEsperance in the southClickhere to discover more about how Western Australia’s energylandscape is evolving to become more sustainable.RoleSummary:The PayrollOfficer role is a newly created Part-Time opportunity in ourPayroll Team based at our Perth Head Office site.This role isresponsible for administering and maintaining the operation of thepayroll to ensure timely and accurate production, driving apositive employee experience, and supporting organisationalperformance.Keyresponsibilities of the role include :Workwith the Payroll Lead to coordinate, direct and control end toend payroll preparation, processing, anddistribution.Workcollaboratively with the Payroll Lead to manage, optimise, andoversee governance and application of the payroll processes andsystems to ensure timely and accurate payroll forSynergy.Interpretation ofpolicies, employment contracts, legislative instruments(EA’s) across Synergy’s various pay groups toensure accurate payroll through compliant and robust processesin a timely manner.Administering andcalculating employee benefits, leave entitlements, salarysacrifice arrangements, termination payments and validation ofpayroll system calculations.ManageHR records management (e.g., payroll data and personnel files)through the application of Synergy’s document managementsystems (DM).Whatyou’ll bring:Demonstrated experienceprocessing and delivery of payroll as part of a collaborativeteam.StrongCommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability toprovide advice on policies, employment contracts, legislativeinstruments, and agreements.Experience in theprocessing and the delivery of payroll services using SAP HCMis preferred.Whatwe offer:Working foran employer of choice also means you will enjoy:Flexiblework arrangementsProfessional DevelopmentOpportunitiesPurchased AnnualLeaveBestpractice parental leaveClickhere for a full list of our benefitsEveryVoice MattersOur employeeshave a choice to work for Synergy and it’s a choice werespect and value.
